Question 1

How does AuctionMRR verify SaaS revenue?

Accepted Answer

For Stripe sellers, we pull data directly from the Stripe API. For other processors, our team manually verifies revenue evidence. Every MRR figure on the platform is verified before listing.

Question 2

How much does it cost to list a SaaS on AuctionMRR?

Accepted Answer

Listing is completely free. AuctionMRR charges a 5% success fee only when a sale is completed, split equally between buyer (2.5%) and seller (2.5%). There are no monthly fees, no subscription required.

Question 3

What is the $100 deposit for?

Accepted Answer

To bid on an auction, buyers must place a $100 refundable deposit via Stripe. This filters out casual browsers and ensures only serious bidders participate. The deposit is fully refunded if you do not win the auction.

Question 4

How long do auctions last?

Accepted Answer

Each auction runs for exactly 24 hours. Only one auction is live at a time, ensuring all buyer attention is focused on a single listing. Anti-snipe protection extends the auction by 5 minutes if a bid is placed in the final 5 minutes.

Question 5

Is bidding anonymous on AuctionMRR?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All bidding is anonymous. Bidders are assigned random aliases like 'Bidder #3' so pricing is driven by market value, not reputation or negotiation tactics. Your identity is only revealed to the seller after winning.

Question 6

How are payments handled after an auction?

Accepted Answer

Payments are processed through Escrow.com. The winning buyer pays into escrow, the seller transfers all business assets (code, domain, accounts), and the buyer has a 14-day inspection period to verify everything before funds are released.

Question 7

What happens if the reserve price is not met?

Accepted Answer

If bidding does not reach the seller's reserve price, the auction closes without a sale. All bidder deposits are refunded. The seller can choose to relist at a different reserve price.
